Any update on the tree removal at Hyde Park?

About 5 months back the first London plane tree was removed, I assumed it was the beginning of the end and soon enough all of them as well as the Morton bay figs and islands would be cut down

But Im kicking back on a bench right now as I see that only that single tree has been removed as well as a few branches here and there

Surely if they were found to be seriously infected to the point of posing an imminent risk of branches dropping and killing people beneath they would have been removed with more haste

So is this a good sign or did they just run out of funding?

And if its an issue with funding surely they realise that an ounce of prevention is worth pound of cure and pool together the resources to get it done asap
