Anyone have any luck getting hired at hiring events?

I’m a 23 year old with no experience in the oilfield. I do have years of experience doing general / manual labor though. Anyways, there’s this job fair in Odessa that’s in about two weeks. I’m planning on attending, but it is a 7 hour drive for me so I just wanna know the likelihood of me landing a job. I don’t have any felonies on my record and the only thing I have is a recent DWI- so I’m concerned about that since my license is suspended. Will any companies even consider hiring me? I don’t care which job I get, I just want to get my foot in the door asap.
