HP endorsement question

I am looking to get my high power endorsement in a piper Cherokee 6. All my hours up until this point ~115 hours have been in a Cessna 172. I was wondering if anyone can give me an accurate guess on how long to get signed off based on my experience. Is the switch to high to low wing hard? Any tips?
